Orleans Parish Warrant Records Orleans Parish Warrant Records

Orleans Parish splits its warrant information across several buildings and several clerks. The criminal court keeps felony and misdemeanor case books, the city court keeps ordinance and traffic files, the Juvenile Court keeps its own confidential records, and the sheriff and police departments hold the reports that sit behind them. Finding the right counter on the first call saves a trip across town. This site gathers those offices, their search tools, and their request steps in one place so a visitor can start at the right door.

Why We Built This Site

Louisiana opens a great deal of court and police material to the public, but knowing that a record is public does not tell you where it lives. In this parish a warrant question can end at the Criminal District Court, the city court on Broad Street, the Juvenile Court, the police records desk, or the sheriff's office, and each one answers a different part of the question.

The criminal case books moved in 2026 as well. Act 15 abolished the separate clerk of the Criminal District Court and transferred the records to the Clerk of Court for the Parish of Orleans, while the older clerk's forms and room numbers stayed online. That kind of change is exactly what sends people to a counter that no longer handles their request. We collect the current addresses, phone numbers, search fields, and request steps for each office and keep them in one place, with the source for each one.

What We Cannot Do

This site is privately run and has no connection to any Louisiana court, the sheriff's office, or a state agency. That places firm limits on what it can offer:

  • It cannot run an official warrant check or say whether a warrant exists for any person
  • It cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
  • It cannot post bond or take a payment toward a court case
  • It cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through at a counter
  • It cannot give legal advice or explain how a warrant applies to one person's situation
  • It cannot promise that every phone number, address, or fee on the site is current today

Only the court that issued a warrant, or the office that serves it, can confirm whether it is still open. This site can point to the right office, but the answer has to come from that office.

Search Partners

A few pages carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those firms set their own prices and their own rules, and a result from one of those tools is not an official court record. When a search leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which helps cover the cost of running it. The data those tools return is theirs, and it still has to be checked against the issuing court.
